Get the sliding door reopened

I’m using the excellent new FixMyTransport to persuade Southeastern to get SouthEastern to re-open the sliding blue door!

Who wouldn’t love a website with the tag line “Euston we have a problem”?!

Can anyone explain to me why it would be a good idea to permanently close the side exit from Blackheath station by barricading it with a bannister? Tired commuters on their way home used to love gasping out into the open air. It makes no sense to keep it locked, and makes us miserable!

Please come and support me at

PS – The shortened version is bit.ly/openthisdoor which would probably fit on a sticker :)

Bags for Donald

Bags for Donald

I hope Donald got his bags.  And didn’t pay over the odds for them.  Did he turn up ten days early?  Or perhaps the bag seller tired of waiting, and passed them on to another eager customer.

I suppose we’ll never know, but hundreds of weary commuters must have been wondering the same thing as they trudged up the slope from the train platform this evening.

Nice friendly looking writing.  Spacing is a bit dubious – started out large, and got smaller.  And “orand” must take a close second in the Great Blackheath Spelling Contest, although as this particular note wasn’t supposed to be consumed by many, perhaps the writer should be forgiven.
