There’s another Blackheath Assembly tomorrow, ​Thursday 26 January, from 7.30-9.30pm​ at St Mathew’s Academy, St Joseph’s Vale, SE3 0XX​.

There are also draft plans for parking in Greenwich and Lewisham during the Olympics shown here (PDF).

    This is understandably a delicate issue. There needs to be a balance struck between the economic benefit to local businesses from the influx of visitors due to the Olympics and the impact this can have on the community (be it availability of parking, provision of additional facilities etc) also has to be taken into consideration.

    Did I miss something in all the kerfuffle about Limpix parking? I’ve heard that Lewisham is carrying out a “consultation” about the future of parking across the borough, seeking views on issues such as numbers/location of resident/business spaces, charges, etc. But you have to find the questions vis the council’s parking pages online.
