Foxtons mini parking in disabled space

Foxtons parking in disabled spaces

UPDATE: As pointed out in the comments, it appears that this photo was taken in 2007.

Photo showing Foxtons mini clearly parking in the disabled space outside the Post Office. I guess it’s possible that the Foxtons employee is disabled, and was just nipping to the post office. Anyone know? The concerns raised in the leaflet from a few months ago about their lack of parking spaces appear to be valid.

Also pointed out in the email:

Greenwich Council don’t allow businesses in Blackheath to have internally illuminated fascias. They don’t have permission to use illuminated outdoor signage. Foxtons seem to be ignoring that.

They’re also ignoring the fact that they don’t have permission to trade at weekends as per their planning consent agreement.

You stay classy, Foxtons.

An utterly ghastly looking shop front. Gaudy and beyond tacky.

Where are the Blackheath Society? Why are they not putting as much energy into attacking this chain, as they did when Starbucks set foot in Blackheath? Why are they allowing this bunch of spivs to cheapen the Village with their giant TV screen & juice bar or whatever? Too obsessed with chasing out those drink & drugs obsessed youngsters planning in invade the heath for a weekend in the Summer? ;)

Maybe it’s the innate snobbishness of the Society, they see Foxtons as a “classy” estate agent. When we know they are really just a bunch of sharp suited chancers.

    • That juice bar really bugs me. As Sinatra says: “I feel sorry for people who don’t drink. When they wake up in the morning, that’s as good as they’re going to feel all day.”

      They, they, they, they, they.

Have you bothered to check what THEY have done rather than smear wildly?

      And what have YOU done?

      • I’ve tried to buy a house on just above the median salary for London. It’s not easy. I don’t want or need another estate agent in Blackheath pushing the prices up.

  2. According to the Flickr original, the photo was taken in 2007:

So they’ve been parked there for four years!!!???

The mini was also parked right outside the shop yesterday afternoon causing total chaos at the roundabout

Yeah I don’t think that is one of their current livery (they have those stupid skeleton ones from what I’ve seen).

Probably from the Docklands branch (where the manager of the Blackheath office used to work – according to the article in this months Guide Magazine).

It’s still hilarious though! Great find :)

Just saw this on hatefoxtons. Brilliant! Irrespective of date.

Haven’t seen any of their minis in the station car park, where are they parking? (apart from in disabled bays)

I got their magazine through the door today, entitled ‘Welcome to your area’. I’ve lived in this area over 30 years, and they’ve just arrived, so why are they welcoming me?

The photo was provided to me by a friend who thought it was funny and relevant to me as I live in the area. Neither of us realised it was older.

I have also removed it from Flickr, as apparently you’re not supposed to post photos you didn’t take yourself!

Still, I think it’s a great pic. I also saw the mini near the roundabout yesterday causing chaos but didn’t have my camera with me.

Perhaps someone can start a flickr pool of badly parked minis? :)
