Cricket Match and Race For Life

Apologies for lack of posts. I’m away with the lovely Mrs Bugle until July 5th. Don’t forget the Race For Life on July 4th, from 1030am. See http://www.raceforlife.org/choose-your-event/london—blackheath–04-jul-11.aspx and search my posts from last year, if you need to see the approximate route etc.

Also, Blackheath Society writes that:

“A reminder that the annual cricket match between the Blackheath and Greenwich Societies is being held on Saturday 26 June from 2.30 p.m. in GreenwichPark. Spectators are most welcome – the weather is looking good so do come and support the team. We hope to get the ‘Golden Elephant’ trophy back in the Chapman House office!”

Back soon!

Some local residents might not be aware there are road closure for the Race for Life – 27 roads will be closed preventing access to the village by car from 09.00 to 12.30. The roads accross the heath are closed 09.00 to 15.00.

Reisdents will need to make necessary arrangments.
