Melting Spires
Every day, twitter user @blkheath takes a photo of the All Saints church on the heath. I’ve realigned them so that the spire of the church is at the same position in each image. Then I timestretched the video to see what the effect would be. Hope you like it (images used with permission).

Drummers and drumsticks

A couple of photos from flickr user Beglen. Great shot of the litter left on the heath outside the Princess of Wales pub – apparently all cleaned up now. That light can make anything look vividly beautiful. And a random drummer on the heath. Enjoy the sunshine!

Seventies bus and a forgotten hotel

Great photo from 1974 of a Number 54 bus passing the Heathview hotel in Montpelier Row by Lloyd Rich on Flickr. As one commenter pointed out “just about to be overtaken by Emma Peel too”. Sent in response to the perennially popular post Memories of Blackheath 1944-1958 by Bob Land.
Post here by the Phantom, about the Heathview as it was called.
Another photo here.

Flying the friendly skies of Blackheath
Another amazing example of aerial photography over Blackheath. If the previous one didn’t make you feel sick, this one definitely will.
