Brilliant message from James, that I really should have put up earlier:
Shepherds Foods freezer quality control bought in to question again
Having had a couple of dodgy bits out of their freezer, and turning stuff down due to decidedly shabby looks, today has taken the biscuit.
Bought some frozen Yorkshire puddings, which have quite clearly been frozen, defrosted, refrozen, and thrown around the storeroom
They look a funny shade of grey to me… Bet they cost £20 too…

This doesn’t surprise me in the least!
I bought some of these (wisely not from Shepard’s) last Xmas when i was cooking for 10 as it seemed like a time saver. They were really soggy and fatty and weren’t anything on the homemade ones.

I’ve never understood why people buy these – from Shepherds or anywhere else. They all suck; if you can’t be bothered to make your own, you would surely be better off without any!
