Make sure you check out the Herbal Haven stall at the Bike and Kite Festival today – they seem to have loads of unusual herbs for planting, and they’re cheaper than the ones in the Blackheath Farmers Market. Most of them were only £1 each, and the lady seemed to know a lot about how to look after them. So maybe the Bugle’s Basil will finally last more than a couple of weeks…
The stall is near the refreshment stands towards the Greenwich end of the heath.
